Our History

Creating Carolina Christmas Light Pros was always a dream for owner, Glen Wheeler. When the NASCAR team he was working for as a mechanic and fabricator closed down, he found himself laid off and knew exactly what he was going to do.

Glen printed flyers and purchased a ladder using the deposit from his first client. Over the years and through hard work, while putting customer service as a priority, Glen’s ladder collection has grown to keep up with his list of over 100 clients.

Carolina Christmas Light Pros is now Glen’s full-time endeavor and operates several install crews in addition to the office support team and design specialists. When the lighting and holiday season is over, you can find the pros traveling to trade shows, training seminars, visiting product manufacturers, and preparing for the upcoming season!

That's exactly how we operate, which is why we are regarded as second to none in customer service and professionalism. After all, we’re not just another installer, we’re the pros, the Carolina Christmas Light Pros!

We want to share his light all year long, you can feel good knowing we share 10% of our profits with churches and those in need locally.

Professional Grade Decor

We only carry professional products to ensure professional results. All of our installations take place with property-friendly fasteners and all of our electrical components meet strict UL or equivalent industry standards.

Our lights come directly from the manufacture and are hand assembled to our specifications. We've matched the perfect warm white color of classic incandescent bulbs, including LED technology for energy savings, and combined the latest of cutting edge diode technology to produce a bulb that is 96% brighter than box store strands.

The bulbs of our mini lights are individually molded to the strand and aren't removable. This 1 piece design limits the areas rain or snow can sneak into and cause issues. We also have blended a proprietary water replant to keep moisture out of timers, and the backside of plugs.

In addition, we have the ability to use coaxial light strands. These strands don’t have the traditional male and female plugs that are vulnerable to water seeping in between. Coaxial connections instead seal male and females together inside a water proof capsule that is protected by a rubber gasket, screwed together to form a water tight capsule with a rubber gasket.
